When we created Ophion Watches, little did we expect that our brand would be so warmly welcomed in Singapore. But after several visits to this most beautiful country, and getting to meet the amazing people there, we began to understand the reasons why.
We learned that Ophion’s fundamental values: integrity, transparency, ingenuity and innovation,were very much in line with Singapore’s core national values. So much so, that there was a natural,genuine and organic affinity between the brand and Singapore.
This connection has led to a strong presence and demand for our watches in Singapore, making this market our second best globally.
OPH 786 Vélos Salmon Red
We wanted to honour this special bond with Singapore by conceptualising a limited edition watch that would reflect the unique charm of this country.
Partnering with Jeweluxe, we listen to their expertise and set out to encapsulate the essence and soul of Singapore within our latest and most successful model, the OPH 786 Vélos.
The result are two very different but equally attractive limited pieces that incorporate Singapore’s historically-significant national colour, red.
Offering opposing styles, each model brings its own interpretation of the colour, revealing its own unique personality.
Remarkable for its elegant a subtle classical look, the Salmon Red breaks the mould with thermal blue numerals and a salmon guilloche dial. The bold 12-hour marker in red introduces a contrasting touch, perfect for those who seek balance and harmony, but also want a bit of spiciness.
OPHION OPH 786 Vélos Radial Red
Unlike its subtler sibling, the Radial Red proudly embraces the fieriness, with the colour consuming the entire background of the dial.
This creates a contrasting canvas for the silver numerals and hands to shine, ideal for those who dare to make a statement to show their fearless nature.
Both models interpret the essence of Singapore in their own ways to enhance the allure of the 786 Vélos.
With the two very distinctive design concepts, we hope to appeal to a wide spectrum of preferences – one elegant and subtle, and the other one bold and stylish.
Each model its limited to 55 pieces worldwide to mark Singapore’s 55th National Day in 2020.

Case: 316L Stainless Steel hand polished, with independent made and welded teardrop lugs.
Size: Bezel: 38.5 mm Case: 39 mm, lug width: 20mm
Thickness without crystal: 8.85mm, thickness with crystal: 10.45mm
Top: domed sapphire crystal, with exterior ARDUR scratch resistant anti-reflective coating, and interior anti-reflective coating.
Bottom: flat sapphire crystal, with exterior ARDUR scratch resistant anti-reflective coating, and interior anti-reflective coating.
Produced in collaboration with Voutilainen-Cattin S.A. in Switzerland.
Dial: Multilayered with two options for the base: CNC Guilloche in Salmon, or Radial brushed in red.
Arabic numerals: Appliques are CNC made in steel, finished with thermal blue numerals with special red numeral for “12”, or CNC made in brass with rhodium bath.
Produced in collaboration with CADOR GmbH in Germany.
Hands: Thermal blued hands made with steel, or nickel plated made with brass.
Produced in collaboration with Estima AG in Switzerland.
Movement: Custom made desings and decoration made under Ophion specifications; proprietary design in the main bridges and balance wheel bridge, machine greay grenaille texture, machine chamfering on the edges, machine straight brushing in the barrel bridge, dark gray color on the main plates and bridges, rhodium finish in the balance wheel bridge.
Produced in colaboration with MHVJ and Soprod in Swizerland.
Strap: Handmade Leather strap included in the base price, it’s possible to upgrade to Alligator leather simply select the strap upgrade.
